Dreama - stupid name. What were you thinking? She’ll carry this into adulthood and sound like a porn actress.

Stephanie, how could you be so mean? If the parents like the name who are you to call it stupid? Everyone is entitled to thier own opinion but there is no need to be so hateful!

I am more interested in how you pronounce it. I am a grade school teacher and see many interesting names and love the truly creative ones.

Sorry, Tina, if my comment offended you but the mother put it out there inviting comments. My opinion is that it’s a terrible name to stick a child with. People need to think about how the name translates into adulthood. Tiffany is not a good name for a woman trying to find credibility in the work world. There are just some names that you should avoid and you should certainly not make up a name - like Dreama!!

I think that Dreama is a very pretty name! Dreama is the name of my very close friend. She is beautiful and very smart and has went lots of places. I dont think that people look at your name in adulthood they look at who your are the inside!!!!!!

“Has went” - great grammar there! Believe me - people do look at your name when you are an adult - mainly thinking, “What were your parents thinking?”

I knew a woman whose name was Dreama–while I think it is more old fashioned in origin–I thought it gave her great distinction—Though I like my name–there are ALOT of Jens out there! I think your child’s name will set her apart from the all the Madisons of the world!

Although I personally wouldn’t use Dreama for my own child, Im not one to tell someone that there name is stupid either. Personally it sounds like Stephanie has some issues. You can tell someone you don’t personally care for a name, without being a down and out bitch about it.
